This is a selection of some of the cats available for adoption. If you are interested in one of these cats please telephone the Shelter first on 01392 439898 to find out more information. When calling, please inform us if there are any changes expected in your personal circumstances (moving house, going on holiday etc) so we can discuss your situation in more detail. Please also be advised we will often require a cat flap to be fitted in your home - if this is the case we will ask that this is done prior to adoption of your cat.

If you're looking for a bit of ruff! then I'm your boy! I'm a real character with a BIG personality, at the same time I love a fuss. I love to play, but I can get a bit rough when I get carried away with it. I was a stray but since being here at Little Valley I find I very much enjoy human company. When I arrived here I looked a mess and my coat was yellow, but that will gradually recover it's whiteness and I shall be beautiful again!! Any children in my new home should be 7 or over, and I shall need to be assessed if there are any other pets in the house. Update on Moses 9.10.09 - new pic, new coat (nearly). Couldn't wait to show you how much my looks have improved! I'm a very happy boy and I would love to continue the enhancement of my looks in a new home. |
Update: 18th Dec. 2009 Look at me!! With a little help I've lost 3 kg since I arrived here last May - haven't I done well? May 2009 They say pictures don't lie and I agree, I look lovely don't I? If you click on my picture to bring up the larger (ha ha) picture of me you will see there's more of me than you might expect! Yes, I'm just a liddle bit overweight and will need to continue a strict diet in my new home. Amber is 6 years old and she is a very stressed girl, so she needs a quiet, calm and understanding home with an understanding cat owner. She has been at Little Valley for sometime now and has settled down and enjoys attention. She would probably be better in an adult only home without dogs, but she could be tried with another cat. |

| Logan is a lovely boy who is a laid back, gentle soul with a great personality! He is a pale ginger colour and is about 8 years old. | 5/6 year old Eliza is a sensitive and gentle girl who has had a tough time after being found covered in oil. She is slowly recovering and needs a quiet, loving home with lots of TLC and gentle encoutragement as she has lost some of her confidence. Any children in the home should be over 12. If she is to live with another cat or dog she will require reassessment. | |

| Kitty is 6 years old and a really worried girl. She is really scared here at the Shelter and urgently needs to find a safe and secure home with loving and understanding owners. She likes human company and an adult only home would probably be best for her. | ||

| Thought to be about 7 years old, this handsome boy has a lovely soft nature, but can be worried by life but is slowly coming out of himself and will make a cracking affectionate cat. He has lost a paw which had to be amputated so he would benefit from a quiet and calm household. Georgeous boy! | Kizzy is a gentle natured older 15 years? cat who loves a fuss and needs a quiet warm retirement home. Children need to be 7 years plus. She also qualifies for the 'Golden oldies vet scheme'. | |

| Ginger boy Brioche and his lady friend Croissant are both 18 months old. Both are lovely cats who enjoy human company and are quite playful, although Croissant is a little nervous at first but quickly decides that she does like to be made a fuss of! Any children in the hiome should be 5, or possibly younger if calm and sensible. If to be rehomed with other cats or dogs they will need assessment. | 4 yr old Saffron (dark tortie) and 11 yr old Holly (fluffy) would like a home together. Saffron is very sweet natured and a little timid around new surroundings. Holly also has a lovely nature and loves to be groomed but is also a bit anxious. A quiet understanding home with love will suit this pretty pair purrfectly. Being 11, Holly qualifies for our Golden Oldie scheme which can help with some age-related illnesses. | This young pair are quite anxious about life and timid of new faces, but can be very sweet and affectionate when relaxed. They would like a quiet and calm home where they can find their feet and gain confidence. They are both all black, quite slim and elegant, and do like a fuss once they get to know you. Any children in the home should be 10 or over, they would need further assessment if to live with other cats or dogs. | 8 year old Susan is a nervous girl, very easily worried. She shies away from attention, but when you ignore her she wants you to fuss her, but will let you know when she has had enough. She needs a calm and settled home where she can gain confidence, relax and enjoy human company. She should have a child and dog free environment, and could be assessed with another cat if necessary.
