Two year old Johnny and one and half year old Cleo had previously lived in a flat with no access to the outside world as a result they are timid creatures and can be easily spooked. Since their arrival at the shelter they have both settled into their routine and are slowly gaining confidence and showing staff how affectionate and friendly they really are. We would like this sweet pair to remain together as they adore each other and Johnny leans on Cleo for support. An owner who is experienced with nervous cats would be desirable and at this stage no children or dogs as they require a quiet home environment in order to find their feet.

3 year old Chester is a lovely gentle lad with a sound temperament. He can be a little timid and wary at first and would need a calm and patient owner to allow him the time to settle into his new environment. He could live with older children and he is to be assessed further if he could live with cats and dogs. He is really a docile and happy cat who will shower you with affection

We believe Rosalind 2 yrs old to be the mother of Orlando who is 1 yrs old. They were abandoned by their owner and Orlando has found the whole experience very nerve racking but even though he may not look it in this photograph he is a big softie and rather sensitive. He still needs to gain confidence but he is showing great strides as each day goes by. Rosalind is also a little timid and reserved in nature but has shown us she really does enjoy attention and as her confidence grows now demands it! These two could be rehomed together but we would consider rehoming them separately. They are to be assessed if they could live with other cats or dogs and children in the home need to at least 12 plus and used to cats. As these two cats have had a tough time of it they will require a stable and calm home environment.

 

3-4 year old Loki is a gentle giant who can be a little wary of new situations but once settled he will shower you with affection. He has a smashing temperament and will make someone a great companion. We think he may be OK to live with children of school age, please ask for more information.

1 year old Juanita isn't used to much positive human contact so she is a little timid. However, Juanita is very curious about things and is starting to get used to people and enjoy an ear tickle. She is looking for a home with owners used to timid cats who have the time to spend helping her come out of herself. We think she may be OK to live with older children, please ask for more information.

2 year old Sylvester came to the shelter as a stray with an injured paw. He has recovered well & has turned out to be a friendly & inquisitive young boy. He likes to be groomed & will roll around on his back purring with contentment! He will need to be assessed if he was to live with another cat but could live with kids over 5 years. A very sweet chap!

4/5 year old Majito came to us as a stray having been found in a shopping mall stairwell. He is an anxious boy & can get easily stressed so an owner who can spend time with Majito to help him gain his confidence & give plenty of reassurance would be ideal for him. Majito is a sweet boy & loves having a fuss made of him - he just needs a home where he can feel relaxed, could that be with you?

Big lad Santa is 4 years old and has the softest temperament and is a real gentlemen, who becomes putty in your arms. He just loves attention and cuddles and has a huge amount of love to give.

Liquorice is a two year old stray, he is a big playful boy! He enjoys human company and lots of attention. He will make a great family companion. Could he your favourite liquorice all sort? He could possibly live with younger children. Unfortunately he could not live with dogs.

3 year old Tinsel came to us in quite a state and his condition was left untreated, as a result he has had to endure painful pads and daily treatment. He has recovered remarkably however as a result he requires sensitive handling and a patient owner, who will allow him the time to relax and gain trust in people. He is a playful boy and will really bloom once in the home and demand attention. Children in the home will need to be 12+ as Tinsel can play quite rough at times.
