Please call 07748 629202 between 11am and 4pm (not Wednesdays) and you will be able to speak to one of our trained dog staff who will pleased to chat about your situation and any dog you're interested in. Please do not use this number at any other time or send a text message.

Please DO NOT use this number for any other RSPCA query. It is only for people interested in adopting a dog from Little Valley.

Please note; the Shelter does not re home dogs to families where there are children under the age of 5.

It may be a cliche but Tango is in need of a very special home. He is an extra special 5 year GSD who we all have fallen for here at Little Valley. He is a big, soppy, handsome lad who needs as much fuss and attention as he can get. Unfortunately he does have some breed related health issues so we are looking for a very dedicated owner to come forward. His ideal home would be rural with lots of space for him to bounce around in! His exercise needs to be little and often and he would need to be the only pet. Tango is an adorable Shepherd who is desperate to find a committed and understanding new owner.

4/5 year old Milhouse is feeling very miserable at being here in kennels. He is desperate to find a new home where he will get lots of interesting walks & plenty of fuss & attention. He would prefer to be the only pet in the household as he likes all the attention to himself but then enjoys going for walks with his doggy friends! He is a very sweet natured dog who will be very rewarding to own. Teenagers in household.

4/5 year old SBT Bart is a super boy! He is very friendly with everyone he meets & loves nothing more than a cuddle! He would prefer to be the only pet in the home but is sociable with dogs he meets out & about. Bart thoroughly enjoys his walks on & off the lead. He's desperate to find someone to build a special bond with & will be a very loyal, loving companion. Could live with teenagers.

6 moth old Bailey has had an unsettled start to life, being passed through different homes & is now looking for a committed owner to give him a permanent home. He is a typical youngster who will need to continue with some basic training but is eager to learn & loves to use his brain! He will need a home with no young children but teenagers & could live with a dog used to bouncy breeds! No cats!! This handsome boy has a lot to give to someone willing to put a bit of time into him.

Jess is a real favourite amongst staff here, she has been with us for sometime whilst recovering from a skin complaint but only now can we find her a new home. She has had a sad past but Jess's future will be a loving and peaceful retirement. She is only 9 years old so still has lots of energy for interesting and varied walks. She needs an owner who preferably has some collie experience who will give Jess the time she needs to settle in and learn to trust them. She would suit a rural home with rural walks where she won't have to meet lots of people as she can find this a little intimidating. She could live with another dog but not cats and does need a home without children.

Henry is a typical soppy lab who may be a little older 8/9 years old but still has a spring in his step! He’s a laid back dog who loves attention & enjoys his walks. He could happily live with another dog & possibly a cat/older children. Henry's a super dog who will make a very rewarding companion.

Bandit is an energetic young collie, who is also a very sensitive boy. He would benefit from an owner experienced with his breed & would love to progress his clicker training onto agility or something similar. He can be quite timid when meeting new people so a more rural home would be ideal. Most importantly Bandit needs time to build a relationship & then you’ve got a loyal friend for life!

Bonnie is a super little terrier. Initially she can be a little timid, but once she gains her confidence is going to be full of beans & probably a real mischief terrier! She would benefit from living with an existing dog & would suit an active outdoorsy family/owner. No cats but older children.
