This is a selection of some of the cats available for adoption. If you are interested in one of these cats please telephone the Shelter first on 01392 439898 to find out more information. When calling, please inform us if there are any changes expected in your personal circumstances (moving house, holiday etc.) so we can discuss your situation in more detail. Please also be advised we will often require a cat flap to be fitted in your home - if this is the case we will ask that this is done prior to adoption of your cat. | Sly (black) came to the shelter with his best friend Sam (tabby) & they are looking for a home together. Sly is just as affectionate as Sam so be aware that one pair of hands might not be enough!! They are both 5 years old. | |

| Tootsie is a sweet, playful 1 year old girl. She is a bouncy lass who is very affectionate. She doesn't take life too seriously & has therefore quite a laid back temperament. Best to come & meet her & experience her amusing, charming antics first hand. | |

4 year old Inca is an affectionate girl who is quite demanding and knows her own mind. She is very intelligent and independent but always comes back for loves and attention. Children in the home 12 years plus. |

10 month old Edward can be a little shy at first but as you can see he loves to have his picture taken! Once he knows you he just adores having a big fuss made of him - he will head butt you for more if you dare stop. He is playful & inquisitive & will have you laughing at the antics he gets up to - a gorgeous boy as you can see. |

3 year old Jasper is a worried, sensitive boy but having been trapped in a building void for several days who can blame him! He is slowly gaining his confidence & once he feels secure he enjoys nothing more than having some fuss made of him. He does need an experienced owner used to anxious cats. |

Gabriella is a very sweet but timid young girl. She is small for her age (6 months) and worried by new experiences. She is starting to trust people and enjoy a fuss. She is looking for a home with another friendly playful cat and owners with experience of nervous felines. We think she may be OK to live with children of school age, please ask for more information. |

1 year old Juanita isn't used to much positive human contact so she is a little timid. However, Juanita is very curious about things and is starting to get used to people and enjoy an ear tickle. She is looking for a home with owners used to timid cats who have the time to spend helping her come out of herself. We think she may be OK to live with older children, please ask for more information. |

1 year old Katerina is a very sweet pretty girl. She isn't used to much positive human contact so she's quite timid and shy (as you can see from the picture). 4/5 year old Majito came to us as a stray having been found in a shopping mall stairwell. He is an anxious boy & can get easily stressed so an owner who can spend time with Majito to help him gain his confidence & give plenty of reassurance would be ideal for him. Majito is a sweet boy & loves having a fuss made of him - he just needs a home where he can feel relaxed, could that be with you? |

Big lad Santa is 4 years old and has the softest temperament and is a real gentlemen, who becomes putty in your arms. He just loves attention and cuddles and has a huge amount of love to give. |

Liquorice is a two year old stray, he is a big playful boy! He enjoys human company and lots of attention. He will make a great family companion. Could he your favourite liquorice all sort? He could possibly live with younger children. |

Tinsel |

3 year old Tinsel came to us in quite a state and his condition was left untreated, as a result he has had to endure painful pads and daily treatment. He has recovered remarkably however as a result he requires sensitive handling and a patient owner, who will allow him the time to relax and gain trust in people. He is a playful boy and will really bloom once in the home and demand attention. Children in the home will need to be 12+ as Tinsel can play quite rough at times. |
